Introduction

Welcome to the CHIC Website.

CHIC's membership consists of about 30 male heterosexual crossdressers along with some wives or significant others. We are a social club for those who have accepted and are comfortable with their crossdressing.  CHIC is not a sex club or dating service and will not respond to solicitations.

 We meet on the second Saturday of each month primarily at mainstream public restaurants and occasionally at private homes of members. Security is a very important concern for our membership and the screening process is extensive. We are very particular whom we select for membership and those who succeed find it is worth their time.

Contrary to popular belief you do not have to pass or be wealthy to become a member. There is no age range that you must be in although you must be at least 21.

 If you conduct yourself as a classy lady and present a positive image of yourself you may have what we are looking for. The ladies of CHIC always present themselves in a lady like manner and project a positive image of crossdressing to the general public. We are committed to showing the non TV Show and true version of our lifestyle.                                                        

There are many terms used to describe men who dress in women's clothes but the majority of them do not fit the members of CHIC.  Not all men who cross dress as women do so for the same reasons but are none the less lumped into one of three groups by the general public which are Drag Queen , Transgendered or Transvestite.  The common perception among many people unfamiliar with crossdressing is that  these terms have the same meaning.  In fact they are all different from each other.  You will find out more information in the Handbook page of this site. The terms Transvestite, Trans Gender, Transgender, TG, TV, "T" Girls, Heterosexual Transvestite, Crossdresser, Heterosexual Crossdresser,  best describe our group. 

Other terms such as Drag Queen, Female Impersonator, Queen, TS, and Transsexual are not applicable to CHIC members.  These terms describe others who also cross dress but that is where the similarity ends. CHIC members are not transiting from one gender to another full time or changing sexes.  Some people feel that we are Female Impersonators because we dress like women but the term is widely accepted to describe professional entertainers which, we are not.

The members of CHIC represent a small segment of men who dress as women with our focus on being a social group of heterosexual mostly married individuals having fun enjoying expressing our femininity.
